Imperial ship review: Imperial-class Star Destroyer

Let's talk about the first Imperial battleship seen in all of Star Wars, the Imperial-class Star Destroyer. With wave 7 including two new chassis for this iconic ship, this article will be covering all four of the available options and so is going to get rather lengthy, so settle in someplace comfortable!

TIE Fighter squadrons not included (but recommended!)

Imperial ship review: Interdictor cruiser

We've made it to wave 4! I mean to be fair, waves 3 and 4 are basically the exact same wave because they came out together, but... technically it's wave 4!

Oh hello there, I didn't notice you getting choke-slammed out of hyperspace!

Imperial ship review: Onager-class Star Destroyer

It's time for a new ship review, hot off the presses it's the Onager-Class Star Destroyer!

They turned our beautiful triangle into a capital T.

Imperial ship review: Super Star Destroyer/Star Dreadnought

The age of the Big Chungus is upon us, so let's talk about it with an appropriately super-sized article. Get comfy.
Was real sweet they were able to get Dante in this bad boy.

Imperial ship review: Quasar Fire Cruiser-Carrier

All right, let's talk about quasars. You see, a quasar is a supermassive black hole and its giant accretion disk (basically a huge spiraling traffic jam of matter that's all headed in) that reaches incredible levels of heat and brightness due to the  nearly unfathomable speed the matter is traveling as it plummets into the black hole. Thanks, Astronomy 101! No, seriously, Astronomy 101 was an awesome class and I don't regret taking it.

One day you too can be an artist who gets to draw something this cosmically awesome.
Except that's not actually what we're talking about, we're talking about the wave 6 Imperial ship, the Quasar Fire Cruiser-Carrier. That's a mouthful, so from here on out it's just the Quasar.

Imperial ship review: Arquitens Light Cruiser

We finally reached wave 5! We did it! And so now it's time to talk about the Imperial ship from wave 5, the Kittens Light Cruiser.

Cute and cuddly, sure, but kitten claws will cleave through solid steel!

Imperial ship review: Gozanti Cruisers

Waves 3 and 4 effectively came out at the same time, making them less of two separate waves, but we're obligated by FFG release terminology to treat them sequentially. Thus let's continue past wave 2 and into wave 3 with the Imperial Gozanti Cruisers!

The U-Haul of the Empire, now with mom's attic for extra overhead storage space!

Imperial ship review: Raider Corvette

What? Where's the star destroyer designation? Cor...vette? Is this a real Imperial ship review? It is, in fact! Not everything must destroy stars. Or... be a destroyer ship of the "star" classification, I suppose. Whatever it is exactly that "star destroyer" means in Star Wars anyways - it seems to get used on wildly different ships when you really think about it and that can't be any kind of reasonable categorization system for a military dictatorship that spans a healthy chunk of a galaxy, right?

There's no good way out of this tangent, so enjoy some sweet missiles!

Imperial ship review: Gladiator-class Star Destroyer

It's time to cover one of the most-feared ships in the game: the Gladiator-class Star Destroyer.

So are you more of a red lighting or yellow lighting kind of guy?

Imperial ship review: Victory-class Star Destroyer

Let's begin the Imperial ship reviews at the beginning with the first Imperial ship most of us ever pushed around a table, the OG angry triangle, the Victory-class Star Destroyer (VSD)!

The Victory-I knows how to take a more flattering profile picture. Take note, Victory-II.
